What exactly does “repurposed” mean?
- To give a new purpose or use to
- To find a new use for an idea or product
- To reuse something for a different purpose from the one that was originally intended
Do you wish you knew how to repurpose some of things you already have in your house? Do you wish you were more creative? Then this is just the workshop for you!
Before we get started, I’ll briefly explain why repurposing is important and then I’ll tickle your curiosity by sharing some commonly discarded household things that can be used to make gifts, games, and decorative items. After that, we’ll get creative!

Is your group interested in serving others? In this workshop I will teach how to make “repurposed” items (using things “previously loved” to make new items) that can be made in large numbers with members of your group. These gifts can then be filled with encouraging notes, candies, and so on - they will be guaranteed to warm hearts and show others you care about them, and will be suitable for:
• Nursing homes
• Homeless shelters
• Children’s hospitals
• Veteran’s hospitals
• Service men and women overseas
(Contact me so we can discuss several suggestions of items to be made before the workshop.)

Is your group interested in an eco-friendly fundraiser? I would be happy to share some easy-to-do projects that I have tested for level of difficulty, cost, and practicality and which have proven to be successful with other groups. I will provide full instructions, a start-up package of materials, a list of materials and tools that will be needed for future group workshops, and I’ll demonstrate the “how-to”.
